Star Wars actor to take lead in Tom Hanks’ Image Nation-funded movie

Star Wars actor John Boyega is the latest big name to be added to the cast of The Circle.

The Tom Hanks movie is being funded by Image Nation, and has already announced Harry Potter star Emma Watson in a leading role.

The feature adaptation of The Circle, has been written and will be directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now). The film is being produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman for Playtone, Anthony Bregman for Likely Story, and Ponsoldt.

Shooting is set to start imminently in California.
