Our latest international co-production ROMAN J. ISRAEL ESQ. had its debut at theesteemed Toronto International Film Festival 2017 and received a standing ovation from spellbound audiences. The premiere was followed by a Q&A with writer and director Dan Gilroy and lead actor Denzel Washington, who talked about their close collaboration during filming.

The feature film was the first international co-production announced under our Culture China – Image Nation Content Fund with CICC. It is a dramatic thriller set in the underbelly of the overburdened Los Angeles criminal court system.
