Following its GCC-wide theatrical release, leading MENA distributor Front Row Filmed Entertainment has signed an exclusive worldwide deal with Yango Play. Yango Play, the leading all-in-one entertainment super app, will exclusively feature Image Nation Abu Dhabi’s Emirati-Saudi production Al Eid Eiden. 

Directed by first-time director Maitha Alawadi, Al Eid Eiden stands out as the first feature project with an all-female Emirati creative team behind it. It was shot across Abu Dhabi’s leading leisure and entertainment destination Yas Island. The film, which stars Fahad Albutairi and Meera AlMidfa, follows an Emirati-Saudi family whose Eid getaway to Abu Dhabi takes a dramatic turn, leading to a series of comedic mishaps and misunderstandings. Despite the chaos, the parents navigate uncharted parenting territory and discover unity as a family.

Al Eid Eiden is the latest addition to Front Row Filmed Entertainment’s expanding portfolio of regional films, further solidifying the company’s position as a key player in the Middle Eastern entertainment industry. The deal was negotiated by CEO Gianluca Chakra and Partner and Director of TV and SVOD sales Carine Chaiban for Front Row, and Khalid Al Sergany for Yango Play. Al Eid Eiden is set to launch on the 28th of November 2024 exclusively on Yango Play.
