CASTING CALL OPEN FOR IMAGE NATION ABU DHABI’S LANDMARK TELEVISION DRAMA

Starring roles available for Emirati talent and hundreds of supporting roles across the 20-episode season available for a mix of nationalities

Abu Dhabi, September 27, 2015: Earlier this month Image Nation Abu Dhabi, a leading media and entertainment company in the Middle East, announced it is producing a compelling new Arabic-language television series in the United Arab Emirates later this year.

The new dramatic series, yet to be named, follows the ups and downs of a passionate young Emirati lawyer and her father, one of the region’s top attorneys, as they deal with challenging legal cases while navigating personal and family dramas.  The first season of the series will feature 20 one-hour episodes.

Michael Garin, CEO of Image Nation, said: “Providing both established and aspiring actors with the opportunity for so many juicy roles should help them enormously to both develop their craft and gain wider public recognition.  It’s a unique chance to bring compelling entertainment to audiences around the world, while providing a host of opportunities both in front and behind the camera that advance Image Nation’s mission of creating a sustainable media sector in the UAE and the region .”

A casting call is already under way to fill hundreds of secondary roles, from leading characters to extras.

Alwiya Thani, Production Manager at Image Nation, added: “The launch of this original and exciting television drama presents a wonderful opportunity for UAE Nationals and residents to break into show business.”

“We are particularly excited to have such strong female characters, especially our lead lawyer.  These reflect the important roles women play across our society and provide unique opportunities for a host of female actors.”
